
Will is a global investment strategist at Newton Investment Management; he joined the firm in February 2022. Previously, he was head of multi-factor equity and fixed income at Mellon and head of active equity portfolio management at Mellon Capital, which he joined as an investment strategist in 2013. Prior to joining Mellon Capital, he held roles in client service at Commonfund and in portfolio strategy at AXA Investment Managers and was a derivatives trader and structurer at Morgan Stanley in London. He started his career in finance at Royal Dutch Shell, where he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant. Will has a BA in Classics from the University of Cambridge, a MSc in Management Science from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)* designation. Outside of work, he bikes, runs and hikes in the hills around his neighborhood.
